Part sci-fi treasure hunt, part virtual bazaar, part Club Penguin for sneakerheads, ComplexLand was a five-day convergence of music, fashion, celebrity, and hype.

Users were able to collect coins throughout the world and compete with their friends and others, creating engagement and encouraging them to explore everything ComplexLand had to offer.

These updates paired with what worked from the first iteration – live streams, exclusive drops, taking photos and more – created an engaging and immersive digital event that replicated the IRL experience.

My role consisted in creating UI solutions for each of the features new and existing from the previous version, and having constant comunication with dev and motion to make sure the designs were possible to execute.
